Juniper appoints David Helfer as VP of partners, EMEA
Networking vendor makes channel appointment

Juniper Networks (NYSE: JNPR) has announced the appointment of David Helfer to the role of vice president of partners, EMEA.
In his new role, Helfer will be responsible for “redefining and creating a unified partner team in EMEA”, supporting the partner base, Juniper accreditation, training and aligning Juniper partners for the next phase of Juniper’s growth.
Helfer has been with Juniper since 2000 when he joined the company’s Americas sales organisation. Most recently, as vice president in Juniper’s Strategic Alliances organisation, Helfer led the execution of the company’s Alliances Field Engagement, Partner Operations and Products teams.
“As Juniper continues to extend its reach and deliver the new network through partners, this is a really exciting time to be structuring and managing the channel’s go-to-market in EMEA,” says Helfer. “Juniper Networks has consistently invested in every aspect of our distribution and reseller community and I look forward to expanding the role to maintain the best-in-class profitability and support we provide our partners in the enterprise and service provider markets.”
“I am thrilled that David is joining the EMEA team,” says Sean Dolan, senior vice president EMEA. “Partners are critical to Juniper’s continued success, and David’s vast experience of working globally with our partner ecosystem will be invaluable as we enhance and expand our strategic partnerships.”
Juniper has also revealed Emilio Umeoka will join the firm as senior vice president, worldwide partners.
Umeoka joins Juniper from Microsoft, where he served as president of Asia Pacific.
