BullGuard bolsters channel portfolio with new VPN service

BullGuard has beefed up its channel portfolio with its new BullGuard VPN service, as the security software firm looks to create new revenue streams for its channel partners.

With the increase in remote working due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, BullGuard says resellers can capitalise on the hike in demand for VPNs while also leveraging the firm's up-front margins and revenue share on all license renewals.

Available immediately, the solution enables resellers to offer an award-winning, advanced, and easy-to-use VPN product that delivers military-grade encryption, the firm said.

"We are delighted to provide our partners with the opportunity to tap into the VPN market at a time when sales are increasing exponentially," commented Steve Hicks, head of Global Sales at BullGuard.

Targeting hackers, malware and wireless data traffic spies, BullGuard VPN offers customers protection when connected to vulnerable Wi-Fi hotspots, as well as online anonymity. Users can also hide their origin IP address and prevent ISPs, social media platforms and government organisations from keeping tabs on their online browsing activity.

With its auto-connect for open Wi-Fi networks, customers also receive secure connections to hotspots, protecting them from potential data theft, malware, privacy breaches and cyber-attacks. There's also 24/7 support, regular software updates and a no-logs policy.

Available for Windows, macOS, Android and iOS, users can purchase BullGuard VPN in plans of one, two and three years. Each license then protects up to six devices simultaneously and users can switch between servers based in 16 different locations around the world.

"The opportunistic nature of cybercriminals poses a real threat to online privacy in the current circumstances, and the increase in demand of VPN is a clear sign that end users are recognising the importance of their online security and privacy and taking appropriate action," Hicks said.

"The potential for revenue growth for resellers now that they can fulfil this surge in demand is substantial. By adding BullGuard VPN to our channel line-up, resellers can now offer a complete portfolio of BullGuard products to ensure their customers have total protection and privacy from the persistent tide of cyber-criminal activities."
