Logicalis MD Kelly quits

Letter of resignation

Logicalis UK MD Tom Kelly has announced he is to leave the firm in the New Year.

In an email, Kelly (pictured) says that after nearly a decade at the helm, “it’s time for change and for me to move on and face new and exciting challenges.”

Kelly says he will stay in the business until the end of February 2013 in order to “maximise the year-end number [and] personal relationships” as well as assist with the succession planning within the business.

The exec describes his tenure at Logicalis as: “one of the most challenging, successful, enjoyable and rewarding of my career”, citing the firm’s datacentre and managed services strategies as key to establishing it as “a trusted partner to many of the world's premiere technology companies”.

However, he continues: “The true test of any partnership comes when times are tough and we've certainly seen some tough times in recent years. But together we have faced up to the challenges and together we have capitalised on the opportunities, demonstrating the true spirit and strength of our partnership.

“I would sincerely like to thank you for the cooperation and support you have given me over the years.”

He concludes: “I will ensure that the relationship baton will be professionally handed over during the coming months and that the continuity of our business partnership is assured.”
