Distributor Arrow says it is targeting MSPs with the addition of Trend Micro’s security line to its ArrowSphere xSP Central platform.
The ArrowSphere platform provides a single entry point to Arrow ECS’s cloud services portfolio. It enables resellers or MSPs to simulate and predict the total cost of providing a cloud service and to generate reports for their offerings, including services from different suppliers, via a single centralised platform.
“This distribution agreement provides a real opportunity to step up the development of our relationships with MSP resellers,” explains Martina Mulas, senior manager, SMB marketing & sales distribution at Trend Micro. “We launched our MSP programme last year to address the needs of the changing business model that we saw with our traditional partners, who are turning more and more to managed services and the pay-as-you-go purchase option. The integration of ArrowSphere allows us to take this initiative a step further.”
The distribution agreement with Trend Micro covers several of the vendor’s flagship products, including OfficeScan for securing both physical and virtual desktops, Mobile Security for managing and protecting mobile endpoints, as well as Deep Security and Worry-Free Business Security Services.
“Customer demand for cloud security services remains very high. It is an essential building block for value-added resellers”, says Eric Taillard, VP, cloud EMEA at Arrow ECS. “ArrowSphere strives to deliver the best technologies to our network. That is why integrating Trend Micro solutions was, for us, an obvious choice, especially as their MSP programme truly fits our approach. ”
