EverFocus sharpens focus on CCTV resellers
EverFocus signs distribution deal with Rocate set to capitalise on fast-growing HD-CCTV market

Security hardware vendor EverFocus has today announced a distribution partnership with Rocate, which sells to over 1,000 specialist integrators and installers across the UK.
Rocate will join the firm’s recently launched UK Partner Programme following its entry into the emerging HD-CCTV market. EverFocus is looking to recruit 200 UK resellers this year, and will provide partners a dedicated UK-based account manager, technical support team, sales leads distribution system, preferential arrangements and assistance with systems design.
According to the HDcctv Alliance, a global security industry consortium established to manage and promote technical standards for HD-CCTV equipment, the global market for HDcctv cameras will reach 15 million units by 2015. In addition to HDcctv products, Rocate will also be distributing other analogue and IP cameras, DVRs, monitors and access control products from across the EverFocus range.
John Boorman, managing director at Rocate says the deal will ensure it will be “at the forefront” of HD-CCTV distribution. “Our technical expertise and product knowledge in IP and analogue CCTV, combined with our vision of customer service and channel support will truly benefit all our customers... [We] believe that EverFocus UK has exactly the right approach to capitalise on this considerable market opportunity in a market still dominated by coaxial infrastructure.”
