Cyberoam launch Endpoint Data Protection

Cyberoam has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of its Endpoint Data Protection suite, which the firm specifically targeting SMEs and the lower end of the enterprise – where it believes a gap exists for an affordable endpoint security solution.

Harish Chib, Vice-President – New Business Development at Cyberoam adds, “Blended threats do not distinguish between the gateway and the endpoint to gain entry. With the launch of the Endpoint Data Protection Suite, Cyberoam will secure organisations at both the gateway and the desktop, offering complete security cover for everyone.”

Adds Mukesh Gupta, managing director of Cyberoam distributor e92plus: “The addition of Cyberoam’s new Endpoint Data Protection software to their existing range of UTM Appliances gives resellers more security options to sell to their customers.”

Cyberoam’s Endpoint Data Protection suite consists of four modules - Data Protection and Encryption, Device Management, Application Control and Asset Management. With its policy-driven data protection and asset management, the suite delivers identity and group-based policy control as well as activity logging to provide comprehensive control and visibility of data transfer over removable devices; applications; chat applications such as Skype & MSN; network sharing and printers.
