Two hands shaking over a desk

Firemon has appointed James Clegg as its vice president of EMEA, with his responsibilities the day-to-day running of the region, plus innovating strategies for the company's expansion into new territories in the area.

Clegg has experience in the security and networking sectors, working for companies including Crossbeam, Arbor Networks, Gigamon and most recenty BTI Systems (Juniper), and is now tasked with building partner networks and increasing customer satisfaction levels.

He also has extensive experience leveraging relationships with MSPs, mobile and enterprise financial businesses to increase sales and lead teams to success in the security and networks sectors.

Clegg was heavily involved in BTI's transition to the cloud and web 2.0 technologies when it was acquired by Juniper Networks and before that, he carried out a similar role at Gigamon as videc president of EMEA SP and telco sales, where he helped build the company's relationship with service providers, recruiting a sales and pre-sales team across EMEA. This shift in focus resulted in business growth of 50% year-on-year.

“James joins FireMon as an experienced leader in the security sector with a success career accelerated through his ability to create high-performance sales teams focused on strategic selling and creative deal innovation,” said Peter Kobs, CRO at FireMon. “With his background and skill set, I am confident that the EMEA team will be in good hands under his management.”
