AppDynamics on hunt for solutions partners

Jigsaw puzzle pieces representing digital collaboration

Application intelligence vendor, AppDynamics has announced a number of additions to its EMEA partner programme, including tiers linked to partner performance and capability, investment in a new channel team and an improved deal registration programme.

The company recently announced the appointment of former Symantec channel exec Mark Peet as EMEA alliances director, with responsibility for expanding the partner business across the region.

Recent partner signings in the UK include Intergence, NTT Europe and DevOpsGuys, with the firm looking to recruit another handful of specialised solutions partners.

In a bid to entice top-end partners, other programme enhancements include the provision of easy-to-consume training materials as well as field sales compensation plans, providing incentives for sales teams to support partners on joint opportunities.

Joe Sexton, president of worldwide field operations at AppDynamics says: “Teaming up with companies that are at the epicentre of a rapidly expanding ecosystem for developing and maintaining today’s complex, highly distributed applications is an important focus at AppDynamics. That’s why we are committed to developing and maintaining world class partner programmes designed to deliver maximum benefits to our partners. Our new investments in building our EMEA channel will support what continues to be a very exciting programme for partners in the region.”

AppDynamics recently announced 175 percent year-on-year growth for the last fiscal year and an annualised bookings

run-rate of more than $100m in Q4.
