Centrix Software has appointed former CA Technologies director, Sean McCarry as its sales director.
McCarry brings with him a wealth of experience working in the channel and large enterprises from SANpulse Technologies, Novell, Dell, and most recently, CA Technologies.
As new department head, McCarry will be responsible for growing Centrix’s workspace management solutions business. He is tasked with continuing to develop a strategic and proactive partner ecosystem, including resellers and managed service providers.
McCarry says that organisations are looking towards differentiating managed service offerings and supporting customer requirements for new consumption models such as cloud-based services, and this represents a huge opportunity for the channel.
“It’s an exciting time for workspace management. Usage analytics and workspace aggregation can help companies make workspaces more efficient and cost-optimised, while giving users the devices and applications they want at the same time,” he adds.
McCarry joins the company at a time of record breaking growth – 400 percent in FY13 – with Centrix CEO, Lisa Hammond, stating that Sean is a significant addition to its management at this stage of development.
