Cloud provider and datacentre partner Brightsolid has been awarded Dell Preferred Partner status, meeting stringent technical and sales training requirements that allow it to offer more services to its clients.

“We are excited to welcome Brightsolid as a Preferred Partner," Sarah Shields, director of UK channel at Dell, said. "Its investment in training will pay dividends for our customers and help our businesses grow and thrive."

Brightsolid added that being awarded the certification also means it will be able to reduce the cost of the cloud services for its customers without cutting the level of service it provides. It also reduces the time IT staff have to spend on managing their systems and allows them to deploy cloud technologies faster than before.

“We have worked hard to achieve Dell Preferred Partner status and this award particularly reflects brightsolid’s dedication to talent leadership development," Richard Higgs, Brightsolid’s CEO added. "Our commitment to Dell technology and the unique design philosophy that it gives means our customers’ experience of technology and service is as seamless and as effective as it can be.”

He added the company is keen on Dell's model because there’s no technology lock-in, closed systems, or unforeseen cost. Brightsolid's customers have diverse requirements and Dell's solutions ensure these are addressed.

"[Dell's] approach to business complements our flexible, personal approach, really appealing to our ‘brightsolid family’ company value," Higgs said. "It’s absolutely critical that our customer experience is an enjoyable one, with one strong relationship for skills and knowledge exchange. The Dell certification and partnership delivers the autonomy we need to take ownership and accountability for our customer partnerships in their entirety."
