D-Link appoints business development manager for IP surveillance push

Video IP surveillance

D-Link has announced the appointment of Giuseppe Cinquemani as IP surveillance business development manager for D-Link UK & Ireland.

Cinquemani will be working closely with D-Link’s existing ‘Partner+ Solution’ resellers, as well as forging relationships with new resellers and installers to promote video IP technologies, including network cameras, storage devices and management software.

Prior to joining D-Link, Cinquemani spent eleven years working for Axis Communications, where he helped establish a distribution channel and partner programme for IP surveillance. Prior to this he spent six years at Ingram Micro.

In September, Chris Davies, D-Link general manager revealed the vendor's significant investment in IP surveillance technology.

Commenting on Cinquemani’s appointment, Davies says: “Giuseppe brings to D-Link invaluable experience in the IP Surveillance market and will play a pivotal role in D-Link achieving its ambitious growth plans. He will be focused on helping resellers see the great profit opportunities that exist in network video convergence.”

Adds Cinquemani: “D-Link’s opportunity in the surveillance market is huge, as we combine our global heritage in networking with a solid product portfolio and a very strong partner programme.”
