Giacom has announced the addition of Webroot SecureAnywhere to its software portfolio, as the reseller-only Cloud Services Provider looks to help customers better protect themselves against security threats.

In the face of continuously-increasing cyber-attacks, Webroot's solution provides real-time protection to businesses of all sizes, helping to prevent malware, viruses and ransomware infections from taking root.

Its DNS protection automatically blocks inbound threats to give customers 360-degree security, while Webroot's Security Awareness Training module also aims to help end-users prepare for any potential threats lurking on the horizon.

"Cyber security threats have been continuously increasing, and now with the uncertainty created by COVID-19, people are more at risk than ever while working remotely," said Steve Law, CTO at Giacom. "That's why it's fantastic to be adding Webroot SecureAnywhere to Giacom's security portfolio."

Available through its Cloud Market management portal, Giacom says the addition will help MSPs benefit from the software's simple-to-use management portal, as well as its no minimum user requirement and single monthly bill.

Migration or deployment through the portal takes a matter of seconds, the firm explained, with Webroot’s Security Awareness Training module also on hand to bolster support.

The solution also offers web traffic threat reporting, a range of rapid scanning options, a light client with easy installation, identity theft protection, as well as consoles syncs with cloud.market.

Favoured by the top 500 MSPs, Webroot says it protects its users from an estimated 6,000 new phishing attacks, 25,000 new dangerous websites and 101,000 new malicious files every day.

"As one of the world’s leading cyber security, Webroot is a known and trusted brand, that will help our partners through leading security technology, offering Endpoint and DNS security and a world-class training module," Law added.

"Our partners have made clear their interests, so it's great to be able to offer them a service they want."
