AlienVault names EMEA channel director
SIEM specialist AlienVault lands in UK
Open Source Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) firm AlienVault has appointed Andrew Morris as its new EMEA channel director.
Based in the UK, Morris will be responsible for developing AlienVault’s channel strategy in EMEA, working closely with all its regional sales teams.
Morris brings with him over 15 years experience of the IT security industry – with the last seven in the SIEM space with LogLogic where he helped set up and manage the firm’s EMEA and US sales channels.
Speaking about the new role, Morris says: “I’m delighted to be back with my family in the UK and am excited by this new challenge with AlienVault…I plan to work extremely closely with our channel partners to make sure they get all the support they need so they can best serve the needs of their customers.”
Adds Richard Kirk, AlienVault’s senior VP of International: “We’re delighted to add Andrew to our team as his enthusiasm is infectious. His SIEM experience will be invaluable as he understands the space in which we operate and the challenges customers face. He has a track record for developing channel strategy and supporting channel partner success, and I know this will be beneficial to all our partners across the EMEA region.”
