OutSystems forms strategic alliance with Persistent Systems

Figure walking up steps, growth development

OutSystems has obtained Persistent Systems’ global partner status, meaning the rapid app development company can widen its reach across Persistent Networks’ community.

The benefits to businesses mean they are able to implement apps and services much faster, without having to wait for manual processes to complete before releasing their creations to customers. This “low code” approach

“Instead of development taking months and years, working with Persistent, our customers are able to go to market within days and weeks leveraging Software 4.0,” Bob Wilson, VP WW Channel Sales and Alliances at OutSystems said. “This partnership is transforming organisations to be more software-driven.”

OutSystems is currently working with a wide spectrum of businesses in the financial services, healthcare and agriculture sectors, although it now wants to expand into healthcare, financial services, insurance, government, and education vertical with the help of Persistent.

“This alliance with OutSystems helps us to deliver solutions to the market at unprecedented speed and in an agile manner, helping enterprises to work at the speed and scale that a full digital transformation requires,” adds Sudhir Kulkarni, President at Persistent Systems.

OutSystems and Persistent Systems have been working together for the last year, to bring combined solutions to both businesses' customers, but this opens a new chapter for the partnership, allowing them to reach more of the sales, alliances, solution architecture and professional services teams around the world.

One of the companies' latest innovations is an AI and blockchain-powered robot that offers people the help they need when a natural disaster happens. Anyone affected by a natural disaster can show their identification and register any missing persons with the Disaster Housing Assistant app to submit a claim if there's any damage to their property. It was built using the OutSystems low-code platform to open up the possibilities of using a desktop, tablet, smartphone, or email to log a claim.
