Trend Micro adds e92plus to UK distributor line-up
Security vendor Trend Micro targets midmarket resellers with e92plus signing
Trend Micro has bolstered its UK distributor line-up with the addition of e92plus, in a move to expand its partner network and grow midmarket sales.
Based in Surrey, and with additional offices in Manchester and the Netherlands, security distributor e92plus joins existing Trend disties Arrow ECS and Blue Solutions.
The vendor says its chose e92plus after “a rigorous selection process”, citing its skills at delivering quick growth and partner enablement for midmarket resellers.
James Munroe, channel sales manager, UK & Ireland at Trend Micro says it will be working with e92plus to provide “a wide breath of technical and marketing resources as well as closely align our channel team to show our ongoing commitment to this partnership.”
Mukesh Gupta, MD at e92plus, describes Trend Micro as “a perfect complement to our product range that covers huge growth areas of security, virtualisation and data protection.”
Trend Micro announced a major expansion in its UK channel team last year, comprising a three-fold increase in regional account managers (RAMs) and a doubling of its technical sales team.
It also launched a global channel programme that it said combines the best elements from its regional programmes.
