Acronis announces enhanced partner programme features
The update increases emphasis on supporting partner development for cloud-based services
Data protection and cyber security specialist Acronis has enhanced its channel partner programme with a host of new features and benefits.
The update to the company’s #CyberFit Partner Programme now places a greater emphasis on supporting partner development, particularly for cloud-based services, as well as increasing marketing and social media visibility with pre-packaged automated content. It will also offer competitive professional and financial assistance to partners willing to migrate, Acronis said.
“With these new updates, we are helping to lead the cyber security industry with and for our partners,” commented Acronis channel chief Alex Ruslyakov. “We pride ourselves on the strong relationships we have with our partners, and are always looking for ways to make them more successful, which in turn leads to our success.”
That success has so far seen Acronis’ ecosystem more than double since 2018, with over 750,000 businesses now utilising its Cyber Protect platform. Last year, the firm revamped its partner programme as a unified initiative for providers and resellers.
For 2022, Acronis is emphasising a new focus on service providers and cloud distribution partners, with no revenue threshold, straightforward programme requirements and a dedicated account manager.
Partners can leverage joint business planning, financial benefits for Gold and Platinum members, an on-demand virtual demo lab, as well as a slew of sales and marketing automation tools.
The scheme also promises a competitive migration program, access to Acronis’ #TeamUp initiative for potential partnerships with sports teams, and an NFR programme that provides Acronis software licenses for partners’ internal usage.

“We understand the various roadblocks experienced on cloud transformation journeys and strive to continuously update and improve our programme and deliver outstanding benefits and tools to facilitate partner’s growth and decrease operational costs, delivering them to the front of innovation and leading the industry to new fertile ground,” Ruslyakov added.
Acronis is hosting its #CyberFit Partner Kickoff virtual event on 2 February, during which the firm will detail its approach and plans for 2022 to partners and distributors.
