Xerox acquires managed print services provider Advanced UK
Print and digital document giant moves to further expand its service portfolio
Xerox has announced the acquisition of Uxbridge-based hardware and managed print services provider Advanced UK in a move designed to bolster its regional service offering.
Already a long-standing Xerox Platinum partner, Advanced UK specialises in providing print and document solutions to businesses across Europe, ranging from SMBs to large enterprises. The firm’s 1,000+ clients span a wide range of fields - including transportation, health, manufacturing, retail, finance, and construction.
Post-acquisition, the business will operate as ‘Advanced, powered by Xerox’ and will remain at its Uxbridge headquarters.
“We are thrilled to join the Xerox team and expand our client offering through Xerox’s print and IT services,” said Joe Gallagher, sales director at Advanced UK. “As a long-standing Xerox Platinum partner, we knew that Xerox was the perfect fit to take the business forward and drive differentiated growth opportunities.”
Current managing director Phil Tucker is leaving Advanced, it was confirmed, but the company will continue under its current leadership team, fronted by Richard Nevard. Commenting on the takeover, Tucker praised the longstanding collaborative relationship between the companies.
“Advanced has enjoyed a very strong business relationship with Xerox for over 32 years and this new union will give the business far greater reach in our market, offering additional services and solutions to our existing and new customers,” he said.
Threat hunting for MSPs

“Advanced will benefit from the additional resources that a global corporation will provide but still retain the agility and flexibility an SME can deliver, the best of both worlds.”
The acquisition is the latest move from Xerox to bolster its digital services portfolio. Back in July 2022, the firm snapped up Leicester-based digital marketing service provider Go Inspire in a move designed to improve the transformation of Xerox’s transactions and direct mail services into multi-channel communications.
Now, with the addition of Advanced UK, Xerox said it is further strengthening its UK presence, as well as providing Advanced customers with access to a wider product range.
“With its impressive capabilities and heritage in production print, Advanced UK already has a strong local client base,” said Kevin Paterson, head of Xerox Business Solutions and Small and Medium Businesses at Xerox UK. “We look forward to bringing the industry’s most comprehensive portfolio of services to an exciting new set of Xerox customers.”
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
