Bitdefender has announced a revamp its Managed Services Provider (MSP) Program, as the cybersecurity firm looks to expand partner opportunities and consolidate and its growth strategy.

With the increasing need for MSPs to consult on cybersecurity issues, the new structure aims to offer partners a competitive advantage through access to what Bitdefender claims is market-leading technology and new business development possibilities.

The initiative also offers well-structured incentives, the firm highlighted, as well as opportunities for increased profitability and accelerated return on investment.

The programme will join Bitdefender’s existing Partner Advantage Network Program (PAN), Reselling Channel Program and subsequently the Integrated Channel Program to form part of the company’s consolidated global growth strategy.

“The introduction of the MSP Program, and updates to the PAN, will ensure that our value partners continue to benefit by being able to add new services and technologies to their portfolios,” commented Cristian Corabu, senior director of Worldwide Enterprise Marketing at Bitdefender. “This expanded channel portfolio will scale rapidly and enable both Bitdefender and its partners to excel.

“The Bitdefender PAN already delivers real, demonstrable bottom-line value, along with clear differentiation for partners that invest in Bitdefender as their vendor of choice. We are confident that the MSP Program will do the same.”

Through multi-level architecture, the programme will provide MSPs with varying levels of access to marketing development funds, dedicated operational and business support, as well as access to the firm’s expert team of technical account managers.

These levels are broken down into three groups: Bronze, Silver and Gold. Partners that sign up for the Bronze level of access will receive tier-based pricing, usage breakdown visibility per customer, Level 2 support and MFR License keys for internal use.

Silver members see additional benefits, including Marketing Development Resources access, dedicated Partner Success Manager and Partner Locator Listing. Those that opt for Gold will also receive a dedicated Technical Account Manager, as well as potential entry to the Partner Advisory Board and Reference Program.

“In the context of an ever-changing threat landscape, there has never been a more exciting time to partner with Bitdefender,” Corabu continued. “We look forward to building strong and mutually beneficial partnerships within the MSP community over the coming months.”
