Cloud infrastructure consultancy MTI has announced Ian Parslow is to take up the position of senior vice president of sales for Europe – a newly created role the firm says will support its growth.

MTI most recently reported now revenues of $100m, with the company reaching 200 employees.

Parslow (pictured), who was promoted from VP of sales, will now lead MTI’s European sales strategy and the marketing activities of the company’s Cloud, Managed Services, Security Services and Data Centre Infrastructure businesses.

Keith Clark, president and CEO of MTI, comments: “Ian has been a key contributor to the growth of MTI in recent years and his promotion to senior vice president of sales is testament to his commitment to the company. The MTI board felt it was an appropriate time to create the SVP role to build on our recent success and support MTI’s strategy for business continuity as we continue to expand.”

Last year MTI bought Global Secure Systems (GSS), which now operates as the firm’s security practice.
