XMA has announced the appointment of Tony Brooker as UK corporate sales director, as part of the company's senior executive recruitment drive.

Brooker will be responsible for driving the company's aggressive growth strategy, helping to drum up more business in the public sector, education and corporate enterprise sectors for its value-added IT solutions and services.

“It’s fantastic to be joining such a vibrant, ambitious and fast growth business," Brooker said. "XMA is renowned for its heritage and pedigree in the public sector and has built a strong reputation in that market. However not many people are aware of XMA’s growing expertise and presence in the corporate mid-market where it has gained significant success."

He wants to apply his management experience gained at Insight, SCC and most recently Misco UK to help build and manage the company's corporate sales teams across its four locations in the UK, he said. Brooker added that he wants to build upon the foundations already established by previous teams and scale XMA’s share of the market with new product offerings, improving sales processes and end user customer service.

"Tony’s background lends a huge wealth of experience in the corporate market that is now the privilege of XMA and he will be at the centre of our continued corporate investment strategy," Ian Cunningham, sales and marketing director at XMA, said.

"Tony has held previous working relationships with a number of key stakeholders in XMA, which has helped him hit the ground running, and I am truly enthused to welcome him into XMA and have no doubt his impact will be hugely successful.”
