Exertis appoints new programme director amid UK expansion
Howard Ingleby will be responsible for delivering key infrastructure projects across the company
Exertis has appointed Howard Ingleby as programme director for the company’s UK and Ireland division, with his key responsibilities to deliver Exteris’ major infrastructure transformation projects and lead its strategic plan for innovation.
The technology distribution company said it would be drawing of his wealth of experience working for sectors including insurance, engineering, construction and management consultancy as the company seeks to expand in the UK and Ireland.
“Howard has extensive programme director and Programme Management Office (PMO) experience gained in a variety of industry sectors,” said Exertis’ chief operating officer Richard Hinds.
“He is ideally placed to lead and successfully implement the projects we plan to deliver, which will further improve productivity and efficiencies throughout our organisation, in addition to enhancing customer experience,” said Hinds.
Ingleby joins Exertis from Assurant, formerly British Engineering Services. There he held the role of Interim Finance Transformation Business Partner following its acquisition of British Engineering Services, where he worked as Change Director.
He has also worked at Ardent Hire Solutions as integration programme director, Archwood Limited as programme director and Speedy ire, where he spent six years as strategic programme director.
“Given the high volume of projects on the go, it can be a challenge to manage, control, deliver change and realise the benefits without a co-ordinated and structured change management process and governance regime,” Ingleby said.
