Cloud telephony and UCaaS provider Gamma has appointed Mark Boden as head of Channel North, as the company looks to enhance its partner relationships across the country

In his new role, Boden will oversee partner relationships in the northern regions of the UK, fronting up a team responsible for around 300 channel partners.

He joins Gamma from IT and communications firm Daisy Partner Services, where he developed relationships with some of the largest network and system integrators in the country.

Prior to that, Boden held senior sales and account management positions at various companies, tasked with selling core data and telephony services to customers.

“I’m delighted to be taking on this new position at Gamma; the northern regions of the UK house over 300 of our valued channel partners, a huge proportion of Gamma’s partner base,” Boden commented.

“Our northern partners are very engaged and I’m looking forward to building strong, long-term working relationships with our partner base here.”

Elsewhere, Gamma has also promoted Zach Woods to the role of account director, following 11 years of service to the business. Stepping up from his previous role as business development manager, Woods will now be responsible for some of Gamma’s key partner accounts.

The recent appointments form part of the company’s organisational reshuffle for its Channel sales team, as it looks to get closer and improve working relationships with its partners. By restructuring its teams and accounts geographically, the company says its teams now “better reflect how the channel has evolved”.
