LG Electronics (LG) today revealed it will be focusing its efforts on developing its business-to-business (B2B) channel, and will launch a new Business Solutions Partner Programme and Portal in the UK.
This new focus on B2B will create significant opportunities for UK-based resellers and integrators/solution providers, claims the firm.
A central feature of the programme, to be launched on 3 December 2009, will be the new LG Business Solutions Partner Portal, which will give partners access to sales and marketing campaigns and materials, technical support, product information, benefits and reward programmes, profile management tools, news and events from LG and enhanced communication with the LG sales team.
LG describes its Business Solutions unit as a business-to-business (B2B) “infotainment” company, manufacturing digital devices and solutions including LCD monitors, commercial displays, car infotainment and security systems.
“We have spoken and listened to the B2B channel,” says Barrie Guy, general manager (UK), LG Business Solutions. “The Business Solutions Partner Programme and Portal will enable us to build synergistic relationships, bringing together all the elements partners want and need to take advantage of LG’s leading business solutions in areas such as network monitors, digital signage, projectors and data storage in the UK market.”
LG says it is actively seeking UK B2B resellers with expertise in audio visual, hotel/hospitality, education, government/public sector, retail, direct market and SME markets.
