jetNEXUS upgrades UK partner programme
jetNEXUS: Software Defined Networking increasing load balancing opportunities for channel
Load balancing vendor jetNEXUS is expanding its channel programme, it says in response to the growth of Software Defined Networking.
The UK vendor says it will offer its partners improved sales and marketing support including complete campaign toolkits, one-to-one call outs, floor call outs, deployment videos, free partner training and jetNEXUS incentive days.
“Load balancing technology remains an untapped opportunity for many resellers, yet the emergence of Software Defined Networking means it can no longer be ignored,” says Jim DeHaven, CEO of jetNEXUS.
“For resellers targeting the midmarket and public sector, they can position load balancing as a way to cost-effectively improve application delivery, performance and resilience. By doing so, they can improve customer satisfaction and create new revenue streams for their business.”
jetNEXUS sells exclusively thought its 20 active UK resellers, and says it is focused on expanding its channel footprint. Also, after signing e92plus last year DeHaven says developing distribution will be a focus in 2015.
DeHaven says the vendor’s latest load-balancing product release, ALB-X v4, allows channel partners to offer customers “an alternative to bloated, expensive legacy solutions”.
“We deliver the majority of the features offered by high-end vendors such as Citrix and F5, but in a much easier to use and cost-effective solution,” DeHaven tells Channel Pro.

“We believe this will create real disruption,” he comments. “Our new product really strips back the complexity that has been traditionally associated with load balancing making it much more accessible for both resellers and their customers.”
Last year the firm set out to disrupt traditional vendor-channel relationships by offering resellers 30 percent margin on registered deals; 15 percent on unregistered deals; and most importantly, a 15 percent margin rebate if the registered opportunity holder loses the sale to another jetNEXUS partner.
Grant Davey, public sector network and security manager at jetNEXUS partner Softcat describes the firm’s technology and partner incentives as haivng “shaken up the load balancing market.”
He explains: “Its load balancing and application acceleration offerings have been a great asset to us and made a significant difference to a number of our bids. We are really excited by the market opportunities provided by jetNEXUS’ latest product release.”
Customers include Sony, the US Air Force, Addison Lee and The Football Pools.
