Brother UK hires new commercial chief amid channel strategy shake-up
The appointment comes as the vendor looks to strengthen its channel strategy and support continued market expansion.
Brother UK has announced the appointment of company veteran Julie Harrison as its new chief commercial officer (CCO).
The business technology solutions provider said the move reinforces its leadership capacity as it continues to strengthen its print and labelling portfolio, as well as expand its channel presence.
Harrison steps into the role following more than 30 years with the business, adding key experience across commercial operations – including promotions, rebates and bid management, as well as sales forecasting and budget planning. Most recently, she served as head of commercial and business planning.
She will sit on the leadership team alongside Brother UK’s managing director Phil Jones MBE and senior executives across finance, marketing, revenue, and operations.
In an announcement, Jones said Harrison’s extensive expertise will be a key asset to the company as it continues to expand its footprint.
“Julie and I have worked together for over three decades and she is a great example of someone that has risen through the ranks of the company due to her rock-solid reliability, ability to handle complex problems and attention to detail,” he commented.
“I am delighted she will join our senior leadership team as we continue to pursue growth and expand into new vertical markets.”

Brother UK’s targets channel growth
Based in Tameside, Greater Manchester, Brother UK provides print, scan, and labelling technology to both home users and organizations of all sizes through its partner-led go-to-market model.
As CCO, Brother said Harrison will now play an instrumental role in shaping pricing programs that enable sustainable, mutually beneficial growth across the channel.
Commenting on her appointment, Harrison said her 30-year career at the company has given her a strong understanding of the importance of building strong, consistent foundations for growth – from how the business supports partners commercially, to how it plans and delivers for the long term.
“Joining the leadership team reflects the importance we place on getting those fundamentals right,” she explained.
“Whether it’s bid management, forecasting or partner programmes, these are the areas that ensure we deliver on our commitments and build lasting relationships across our channel partners.”
